BPAL: The Lion

THE LION (Mad Tea Party):

The dry, glorious warmth of the Savannah. A golden, spiced amber, proud, regal and ferocious.

In bottle--lighter and sweeter than the mixed-resin scents I've tried. Interesting--I'd assumed that the sweetness of the faded amber/floral mix that so many scents dry to on me was from the florals, but it looks like the amber contributes to that in its own right.

Proud, regal, and ferocious it's not, although the warmth of the amber strengthens a bit as it heats on my skin. I can sort of smell the spices...no idea what they are. This isn't a lion, it's a warm, cuddly orange tabby. ^^

It reminded me of lions, but because it settled down to amber and dry grass, and the dry grass reminded me of the African savannah when I was a kid, which was where you saw lions. XD

Mind you, lions spend 99% of the day sacked out - they're really big housecats.
