OMG.

Um. Words cannot describe how much I hated that last episode. Not only no Kaname at all, but people being really, really mean to Sousuke, notably Tessa, who is so childish and unprofessional and manipulative as a person and as a superior that I simply loathe her, and resent every second of screentime she gets. As if to make up for that, this episode was entirely about Kaname, and was not only about her, but showed her acting with unbelievable strength, intelligence, and dignity in a deadly situation no one, much less a teenage civilian, should ever have to face. Gee, no wonder Sousuke is in love with her, and not you, Tessa, you selfish whining brat, you.

Oi. Kaname and Sousuke are very seriously my one true pairing in FMP, and I will hear of no other.

Tessa is completely horrible. I tried to like her because I usually like the female characters that everyone hates. But, no, she's hated for legitimate reasons. She is so unproffessional and immature it makes me gag. I can't even watch her scenes anymore.

Did you see ep. 8, by any chance? I don't want to spoil you unduly if you haven't, but the gist of it is, she and some other commanding officers gave Sousuke an order that they knew would rip him apart. He followed it, although obviously he was obviously agonized by it, and when he went reported to her afterwards, she actually screamed at him for being upset over it. He didn't yell at her or even complain or do anything inappropriate; he was just visibly tense and unhappy--and she screamed and cried at him that he was selfish and unprofessional and didn't care about her or his teammates because he wants to protect Kaname--all while he just stood there, being shocked. Not only is she the last person on Earth I'd ever want to see him in a romance with, she is not fit to command. HATRED.

I haven't seen it, no. She is so unfit for command. Also? A total bitch. All the other characters give her passes for being such a total cow and she always gets her way. It is most annoying.
