I thought it was such a pretty film! I just wished that the plot was as good as the effects, and that there hadn't been all sorts of teeny little mistakes with certain science things. But, really, I was willing to forgive it because it was gorgeous. I hadn't thought about the strapping into the spacesuit thing--and now that you mention it, it makes a lot of sense.
