Samurai Champloo
Jun. 1st, 2006 11:58 pmI've been watching this on the recommendation of, well everybody, and it's slowly grown on me--on a superficial level, it's purely entertaining, and I enjoy the deceptively scattered, stylish storytelling. I haven't feel emotionally hooked into the story, though, and while I like the character designs, and think they fit the style of the show, I didn't find either Mugen or Jin especially attractive.
But when Jin took off his glasses just now in episode 7 or 8--
Hhhh--*cough*--hhhhhhhhhh--HOT. REALLY. VERY HOT. Um. Wow.
All of a sudden, this show seems sexy to me.
~edit~
And Fuu is my girlfriend. Dude, I love her. She's brutal. Smashing together the heads of two people who just woke up in the street with hangovers is the most ruthless thing that can be done to a human being, not excepting kicking them in the groin.
