Oct. 5th, 2008 09:24 pmGraphic novels/bandes dessinees:
Campbell, Eddie: After the snooter
(more autobiographical Campbell fare. The highlights include a chapter describing visits with Alan Moore--who is consistently referred to "The Magus," and who has apparently dug his basement out into a gaping mouth of hell, meaning he can never sell the house now--and a couple of visits by Neil Gaiman, who appears to be every bit the sweetheart he comes across in his blog).
Christin, Pierre, writer, and Enki Bilal, artist: Townscapes
(really...weird...French comics. The publisher is listed as Humanoids/DC Comics; I guess they have a line of these).
Schuiten, Luc, writer, and Francois Schuiten, artist: The Hollow Grounds
(same as above, but with a lot more sex).
Manga:
Urushibara Yuki: Mushishi vol. 3.
