I was less bored by this episode. The overall arc is stupid, but there is some decent drama in the Iruka/Mizuki thing. And yay for the Ino/Chouji/Shikamaru scenes, too.

Mizuki: I was an awesome ninja! I always completed my missions, even when I had to needlessly murder my own teammates so they wouldn't be a hindrance to me!

Iruka: Gee, I'm so worried about the teaching exam.
Mizuki: You'll be fine.
Iruka: Hey, I passed!
Mizuki: GRR BITCH.
Sandaime & Council: We should hold off on passing Mizuki until we can get that whole did-he-murder-his-teammate-issue cleared up.
Mizuki: Revenge!
Audience: Have you ever considered "not murdering your teammates" as a path to advancement?

Mizuki: I'm a better ninja than you, because I've suffered, while you've had it easy!
Audience: Easy like that time you threw a giant knife into his back?
