Sakura being smart and skilled makes me so happy.
Have I ever mentioned how much I love the concept of medical ninja in Naruto? There's something about the way that they're simultaneously healers and fighters that really clicks with me. Sakura's learned how to heal her teammates, but like Tsunade, she doesn't hang back as a noncombatant--she uses her ability heal herself in battle to give herself options other ninjas don't have. Like quietly using an antidote to a poison to outwit an opponent, who then can't predict her actions. It's strategy, bitch!
Oh god, she's finally a good ninja. Even if she loses, she's doing Tsunade proud in this fight. So, so much love.
